Ice Cream Sandwiches

So this week has been a very hard one on me. I found out that our dog, Aspen, whom we have had since 1999, is going to have to be put down tomorrow. She has a tumor around her heart and she isn't going to make it through the surgery. So I hopefully will be able to see her before she goes, but I'm not sure.

headaches, new medications hiccups and kicks to the ribs

Well, I started this new medication today. Its supposed to, in theory, stop my contractions and keep me from dilating even more than I already am. I started it today, and I've only taken two doses of it. And OMG I have the worst headache!! One of the side effects. I seriously want to die my head hurts so much. I don't know what to do. I've tried taking tylenol but it hasn't helped at all. So now I'm just lying here in bed trying not to think about the pounding in my head. And then, of course I have to deal with the small child who has managed to jam her little feet into my ribcage and just loves to kick and knee me at all hours of the night and day. Its cute the first few times, and then you get over it. Plus she has the hiccups right now, which cause my entire stomach to move. Its all just piling onto each other and I don't know how much more I can take. I just have to remind myself, 5 more weeks. Just 5 more weeks and then she can come out and I can be happy again.

Oh man these are going to be a long 5 weeks!

Doctor Appointment

So on Tuesday the 10th, I had my 32-week appointment with the doctor. Everything is looking well so far with the baby. Her heartrate is steady and she is growing great! However, I am still dilating, which isn't good. As of the appointment, I was 2 cm dilated. So I have to start a new prescription to hopefully try to stop my progress. I still have 5 weeks until I am considered "full-term" and I am hoping I can make it that far. If not that far, at least past March 28th haha. That is when my baby shower is, and I would prefer it if she wasn't present for that! =] I have another appointment on the 24th of this month, and hopefully everything stays where it is!

I feel like I'm on a deserted island

Today marks the whatever day of my bedrest (I've just stopped counting...I don't care anymore...haha). I am so bored. SO BORED! Yesterday, I read the entire The Other Boleyn Girl. That is about 700 pages, in one day. It was an amazing book mind you, and I loved it, but that just goes to show that I can't do anything!!!!! I am destined to sit around the house all day, and read (oh, and I made cupcakes lol). Almost 32 weeks. 5 more weeks after that until I'm considered "full-term". Then I am going to try everything to pop this kid out haha. Oh well, I suppose I will find out good news tomorrow, at my doctor appointment. Hopefully she will allow me to come off of bed rest soon. So I can get out and do something. To be honest, I just wanna go walk around the mall, or something like that. I need a break from this house!

Bed Rest Sucks!!

So, for the past few weeks, I have been on bed rest. LAME! I unfortuantely am not allowed to do anything really. I just have to wait and see. So lately I've been spending my days watching Cops and other daytime tv. Which is really entertaining...kinda. Otherwise I just get to sit around and feel my little girl kick me in the ribs, and roll around in my belly, and some other places. Just trying to make sure that she is ok and that she is as developed as she can be when she is born. There are only about 6 weeks left until my little girl gets here, and I am just counting down the days! Hopefully everything goes as planned and goes smoothly!!

Who I Be

Hello everyone!! My name is Hannah LaBudde (if you didn't get that from my profile haha). I am 19 years old, and currently pregnant with my first child. A little girl, Kaydence Elizabeth, who is due May 6th, 2009. I know I am a young mom, but I am going to do everything I can for my little girl. I am currently a student through a Community College, which is allowing me to do my classes online for the first year, which is great because I can spend more time at home with the baby and not have to worry about being at school if something happens. I am also a cake decorator for Safeway. I love my job at Safeway. I get to make custom cakes all day and be around dessert. It is so much fun, and the people there are just wonderful. They are truely amazing! I am a pretty laid back person. I don't like drama, and I definitely don't like people who live off of drama. So if that is you, please stay away. I don't need you poisoning my world! Friends mean the world to me, and I would do anything for them. If you want to know anymore, just ask and I will tell! I hope you enjoy my life :)
